Opportunity KNOCKS!!

Hi everyone,

Although I cannot give specifics at this time, I wanted to let you know that I have accepted an offer with Global Brigades for another 12 month contract. I will be in Central America for another year, and I am VERY excited.

I'm really excited!! I've already started my packing list. Currently, I am 7 months into my 12-month contract. So, I have begun to weed through my things here, filling my duffle bag with all that I wish to leave in Oregon. AS WELL, I get to use my brand new backpack that my dad and Lisa got me for Christmas! YAY!!!!! I can't wait. She's a beaut....


Once I empty my duffle bag of junk, it should roll up nicely and tie to the outside of my backpack. I plan on living out of this beautiful piece of traveling gold for a solid month (my time in the US and Panama). I can't wait to practice the arts of an efficient packer. It is a skill I have yet to master. ;)

Incase you'd like to plan ahead on your stalking agenda: I arrive on Valentine's day, February 14th, and I leave the 28th of February for Panama.

I think this is my schedule:
FEB 14 - 18: Corvallis
FEB 19: Portland
FEB 20 - 24: Eugene
FEB 25-27: Astoria
FEB 28: Eugene
MAR 1: Arrive in PANAMA!

*Sorry, California fam. I hope to see you all sometime in the next year. :)

This is, of course, still quite tentative, as my plans may change.

So... It's been awhile...

Hello friends and family,

So, as you have noticed, I have been MIA. Sorry. Things are well for me. :) Although a lot has changed, I am still here, safe and happy. I hope I can say the same for all of you.

Whenever I fall behind in my blogging, I am hesitant to return- "Do I catch everyone up? That will take foorreevveerrr..." "Do I just start where I am? What about all that's happened??"

So, I am here to say.. I have no plan. Yeah, you heard me. I've got nothin'. I will probably just start blogging from this moment on, and if I feel like catching up on December and (a majority of) January, I will do so.
